Walasse Ting (Ding Xiongquan - 丁雄泉)

In the late spring of 1987, Walasse Ting spent two months in Amsterdam; day after day, he made drawings and took photographs of 66 young women recruited on the spot. Back in New York he made paintings on ricepaper from the memory of his stay in Holland. The project is known by the name: Jolie Dames.
